An account manager at Vital is the main point of contact between our customers and our digital marketing, website development, design, multimedia, and content teams.
As an eCommerce Account Manager, it will be your job to make sure that all of your clients’ needs and goals are met. This could mean managing ongoing digital marketing activities like PPC campaigns, email marketing, content marketing, and more, or it could mean being in charge of large eCommerce websites.
Account Managers and Senior Account Managers are both being hired. There must be at least two years of experience in agency or internal marketing for both jobs. Pay depends on how much knowledge you have.
Responsibilities:
- Control what your clients expect by communicating with them ahead of time and managing the project’s scope.
- Oversee production and deadlines to make sure that all tasks in a project or ongoing digital marketing effort are finished on time and on budget.
- Take care of tricky eCommerce connections between clients and outside partners.
- Keep your knowledge of eCommerce platforms like Magento, Shopify, and WooCommerce up to date by getting certifications and working as an employee.
- Work with our top digital marketers, website developers, and brand strategists to make project plans that meet the needs of our clients.
- You can finish projects on time and on budget by working with our great designers, developers, copywriters, photographers, and other media creation experts.
- You should go to and help run project kickoffs, weekly calls to clients to give them a report on the project’s progress, planning meetings, and other important meetings at key points.
- Take care of bills for clients and look for ways to add value through new projects and initiatives.
- Learn everything you can about the client’s business and field.
- Keep up with changes and best practices in your field, and use cross-platform learning to help your clients.
- Find ways to help improve our culture, our process, and the benefits we get for our clients. This will help Vital become a better place to work.
Skills & Requirements
- Have worked as a project manager or account manager for at least two years in an agency or internal brand setting.
- You should have managed projects in at least one of the following fields:
- digital marketing that is built on results and focuses on getting traffic and leads
- Building and designing websites
- Making multimedia (photo and video shoots, podcasts, etc.)
- naming, messaging, and visual character are all part of brand strategy.
- Know how to keep jobs on track with project management software.
- Know the basics of digital marketing, building and designing websites, and/or brand strategies and best practices. We are especially interested in individuals who have worked in some or all of the following fields:
- Information design and UI/UX of a website
- Wireframing and planning the text of a website
- Writing blogs and using information
- This is search engine optimization (SEO).
- Optimization of conversion rate (CRO)
- Marketing by email
- Marketing on social networks
- Automation in marketing
- Building links
- PPC marketing, or pay-per-click
- Get really good at using Google Workspace apps. It would be great if you knew how to use WordPress too.
- Focus on the process and be able to handle several complicated jobs at the same time.
- Feel confident in your ability to run meetings and calls with both employees and clients.
- Be willing to work closely with a creative group and be a team player.
- Pay close attention to every detail and be great at managing clients and talking to them.
Bonus Points, But Not Required:
- Know how to track and measure success with Google Analytics.
- Know how to use digital marketing tools like CrazyEgg, HubSpot, Moz, Sprout Social, Buffer, MailChimp, Constant Contact, BuzzSumo, and more.
